Robyn Heddle A.U.A. (Dip Physiotherapy)
Robyn graduated in 1967 from the University of Adelaide.
She began full time employment initially at the Royal Adelaide Hospital moving over the next 22 years into private practice returning to a senior position in the public sector.
1989 saw the beginnings of an interest in, leading to a continuous full time commitment to, lymphoedema.
A participant of the first Lymphoedema course in Australia conducted by John & Judith Casely-Smith in January 1991 brought the rewards of private practice and the assistance in training other therapists in New Zealand, Long Island NY, Singapore, Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi.
The opportunity to work at the Lymphoedema Assessment Clinic at Flinders Medical Centre with Professor Neil Piller, in 1995 saw the development, with Ann Thelander of the combination treatment of low level laser therapy and lymphatic massage.

Sharon Tilley B.Ap.Sc. (Physiotherapy)
Sharon graduated in 1983 in Adelaide, and worked at the Royal Adelaide Hospital until 1985 at which time she relocated to Darwin for 5 years.
During this time, she worked as the Senior Physiotherapist in outpatients at the Royal Darwin Hospital, and then began working in a Private Practice. She also took up a position as Senior Tutor in Anatomy and Physiotherapy at the Darwin University.
On return to Adelaide, she worked in a general Private Practice until 2001, at which time she joined the Lymphoedema and Laser Therapy clinic. She became a Practice Principal in 2008, and completed her Level 1 Lymphoedema Management Certificate in 2007.She is a registered member of The National Lymphoedema Practitioners Register.
She began her interest in Laser Therapy in 1989, and has published work and presented to various professional groups in this area.
Sharon has a particular interest in the early detection and intervention process in lymphoedema management in order to maximise outcome potential for clients.

Karen Cooper B.Ap.Sc. (Physiotherapy)
Karen graduated from the South Australian Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) in 1985.
Following graduation she was initially employed in the graduate physiotherapy programme at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. After several years Karen moved into the area of rehabilitation working initially with injured workers at their worksites and then at Griffith Rehabilitation Hospital providing care to post-operative and trauma clients. This included a strong focus on "hands-on" physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and gymnasium work.
Karen lived in the UK for 6 years where she worked in both the NHS and private sectors, again with a focus on rehabilitation.
On return from overseas Karen was employed in private practices in eastern Adelaide.
She joined the Lymphoedema and Laser Therapy clinic in 2007 and completed her Certificate in Lymphoedema at the Mercy Hospital, Melbourne in 2009.
Karen has a particular interest in encouraging clients to achieve their potential and to feel confident in managing their condition.
Karen is a registered member of The National Lymphoedema Practitioners Register.
Margie McConachy Dip. Physio
Margie graduated in Physiotherapy from Cumberland College of Health Science (Sydney) in 1976.
Margie then worked at Sydney Hospital for two years then briefly at the Royal Adelaide Hospital Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre before working at Broken Hill District Hospital until 1987.
After travelling to Victoria she took a physiotherapy post at Mt Alvernia Hospital in Bendigo in 1991.
She has completed Level 1 and 2 Certificates in Lymphoedema Management, and joined the team at Lymphoedema and Laser Therapy in 2007.
Margie has a particular interest in the areas of manual lymphatic drainage and the fitting of compression garments.
Margie is a member of the Australasian Lymphology Association and is also registered with the National Lymphoedema Practitioner Register (NLPR).
Marie Bria B.Ap.Sc. (Physiotherapy)
Marie graduated from Uni SA with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) in1991.
Following graduation she worked at Modbury Hospital with both inpatients and outpatients, developing a special interest in hand therapy and setting up a hand therapy clinic in 1995.
1995 also saw her working part time in private practice at Modbury. She joined another private practice at St Agnes in 2004 focusing on working in upper limb rehabilitation as well as doing part-time work in hand therapy and lymphoedema at Royal Adelaide Hospital in 2005. She developed an interest in lymphoedema management at this time.
She has completed Jobst custom measuring workshop in 2005 and 2010, and has successfully completed a Level 1 Certificate in Lymphoedema Management.
Marie joined the Lymphoedema and Laser Therapy clinic in August 2009.
Andrea Hoffmeyer B.Ap.Sc. (Physiotherapy)
Andrea completed her Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy in 1987 from the South Australian Institute of Technology.
Initially employed at the Royal Adelaide Hospital she stayed for 5 years and then spent a number of years at Ashford Community Hospital.
2008 and 2009 Andrea worked for Aged Care – Community & Residential – Southern Cross.She has successfully completed a Level 1 Certificate in Lymphoedema Management.
At the beginning of 2010 Andrea joined the team providing low level laser therapy and lymphatic drainage massage as well as general physio.
Gisela has been employed as Practice Manager since 2005 and enjoys the challenges associated with working and managing the administration at Lymphoedema & Laser Therapy.
She worked as a receptionist for a General Practitioner for 5 years and secretary for a leading Adelaide Psychiatrist for 5 years.
